Creating artwork gives me freedom and opportunities to find out about myself. This is my way to communicate with the outside world. My thoughts, my life and my aesthetic images go out to the world through my work. I have been captivated by human forms especially woman figures since I started exhibiting my work. Hence, my recent work is focused on female ceramic sculpture with figurative Asian brush stroke on. I use the ceramic form as a shaped canvas for my paintings. The dynamic elegance of traditional Asian brushwork is employed in my ceramic compositions.
